Meet the founder
Alexander Hwande
Founder
Alexander Hwande is the founder of Apostello Group, and growth has driven every step of his career.
He started as a self-taught developer, learning to code out of curiosity and building websites for brands and businesses in Cape Town. He went on to work as a front-end developer at a strategic marketing consultancy whose clients included global tech brands such as Microsoft, SAP, VMware and LexisNexis. There he built landing pages, email campaigns and marketing automations for those clients' campaigns, and learned to use technology for commercial growth.
In 2022 he founded Content Calling, a marketing company focused on content and business development that has worked with more than 30 clients around the world. In 2023, seeing what AI could do for business, he founded his AI company in Cape Town. Today, as Apostello Group, it brings together everything he has learned in technology, marketing and business development to help companies find where AI will have the greatest impact, build it into their systems, and equip their teams to own it.
What we believe
The businesses pulling ahead with AI are not the ones with the most tools. They are the ones who adopt it well.
There is no shortage of AI tools. What is scarce is clear, practical judgement about how to apply them so they change the numbers that matter.
MIT studied enterprise AI and found that around 95% of generative-AI pilots deliver no measurable return. The barrier is almost never the technology. It is how AI gets chosen, applied and embedded into the way a business runs.
